Dear Crosscrafter (2023)
Dear Crosscrafter,
Thank you for creating for me! I am open to treats, either fic or art. If you've gotten here via the direct link in my requests, I've used read mores to create sections, so this might be easier to navigate from my journal's front page.
Let's get the lists of general stuff out of the way first!

General DNWs:
I also have fandom-specific DNWs, which I will be repeating in all relevant fandom sections. (Yes, this means if you read my entire letter they will show up multiple times. Since I've broken this into sections with cuts, I figure it's the least worst option.)
All right, now for the fandoms. I'll be listing my specific combinations first, and then have a section where I talk about each individual fandom if I have more to say.
Bionicle (Generation 1) & Steven Universe (Cartoon)
Art/Crossover, Fic/Crossover
I'm most interested in a compare and contrast of Bionicle and Steven Universe's types of fusions. While Bionicle kinda dropped the fusions as an active part of the story after a while, I still think they're neat, and I think Steven Universe's fusions are neat too.
Some differences I can think of off the top of my head: Bionicle's fusions keep the same humanoid shape of the constituents (assuming they're humanoid to begin with), whereas Gems tend to have extra eyes and/or limbs. Also the emotional component is different in each canon. SU, if I understand correctly, uses fusions as metaphors for relationships, healthy or unhealthy, while Bionicle doesn't go so deep into the psychology of it. They both have the thing where voluntary fusions will split apart if the participants stop being in sync, though!
Fandom-specific DNW(s), Bionicle:
Undertale (Video Game & Untitled Goose Game (Video Game)
Art/Crossover, Art/Fusion, Fic/Crossover, Fic/Fusion
It's a wonderful day in the Underground, and you are a horrible goose. Are you a random goose that just wandered through the Barrier? Are you a goose monster who delights in benign chaos? Are you won over by the power of friendship and Frisk's hugs? Do you fall down in 201X and meet Chara?
Fandom-specific DNW(s), Undertale:
Fandom-specific DNWs, Untitled Goose Game:
Untitled Goose Game (Video Game) & Mass Effect Trilogy
Art/Crossover, Art/Fusion, Fic/Crossover, Fic/Fusion
No one knows how this goose got onto the Normandy, but it's not goddamn leaving, it stole Joker's hat, and it's gunning for Shepard's model ship collection. (Or they meet it on-planet or something XD)
Alternatively, and possibly more funny: fuck up the Reapers via the application of one (1) horrible goose.
Fandom-specific DNWs, Untitled Goose Game:
Fandom-specific DNWs, Mass Effect:
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023) & Untitled Goose Game (Video Game)
Art/Crossover, Art/Fusion, Fic/Crossover, Fic/Fusion
This movie was packed full of ridiculous shenanigans and clearly needs more. Some possibilities:
Fandom-specific DNWs, Untitled Goose Game:
Any Other Fandom I've Requested in CW2023 & Untitled Goose Game (Video Game)
Art/Crossover, Fic/Crossover
Goose! Goose causing chaos! What can I say but GOOSE
Fandom-specific DNWs, Untitled Goose Game:
Please see specific fandoms for any fandom-specific DNWs.
Any Other Fandom I've Requested in CW2023 & Bionicle (Generation 1)
Art/Crossover, Fic/Crossover
I have a beloved fandom and I'm not afraid to say that if some of my other fandoms spark ideas with it about Bionicle, you should totally write them. Bionicle fanworks! BIONICLE FANWORKS.
Fandom-specific DNW(s), Bionicle:
Please see specific fandoms for any fandom-specific DNWs.
Untitled Goose Game (Video Game) & Creator's Choice of Fandom
Art/Crossover, Fic/Crossover
Who do you want to see harassed by the goose? I'd love to see it!
Fandom-specific DNWs, Untitled Goose Game:
Additional thoughts about individual fandoms, if I have any (also any specific DNWs one last time):
Bionicle (Generation 1)
Look, man, I love this fandom. I think I've requested it in every exchange I've signed up for. It will not be weird if you go trawling through my older signups for ideas. Also, there's a robust fanwiki in the form of BIOsector01, and if you're doing art there are so many reference pictures on it.
Fandom-specific DNW(s), Bionicle:
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023)
This movie was the perfect encapsulation of the absolute ridiculous shenanigans that happen at a good D&D table. I love it. More overly complicated plans followed by the equivalent of "but we approved your pardon!", please.
Mass Effect Trilogy
Amazing video games, shame about the last 20 minutes. I'm used to playing a Paragon Shepard, and love all of my companions equally(earlier: "I don't care for Zaeed") and they deserve good things and not bad things. "First contact with a new alien species" counts as a good thing.
Fandom-specific DNWs, Mass Effect:
Undertale
I prefer interpretations of Chara where they're a traumatized, slightly edgy tween who found a family in the Underground and would do anything, anything to help them. They're not a monster; they're as good as the people around them, and can be convinced that there's good in the world if people show them kindness is possible. Humans never showed that to them, so they believe humans are the worst until and unless they're shown differently. Or totally give up on them if not shown differently, Very Dusty Time!
Fandom-specific DNW(s), Undertale:
Untitled Goose Game
We need more incredibly silly games like this in the world. I prefer focus on the goose, who is best goose and totally innocent of the crime of theft, pay no attention to the mountain of bells in the corner.
Fandom-specific DNWs, Untitled Goose Game:

Let's get the lists of general stuff out of the way first!
General likes:
- Focus on canon friendships
- "You can't prove this didn't happen" missing scenes
- Slice of life
- Casual physical affection
- Characters who in canon get put through the wringer getting nice days where nothing bad happens
- Getting punched in the feelings about characters
- Canon-divergence AUs
- Cracky crossovers taken seriously
- Cracky premises, in general, taken seriously (commit to the bit!)
- Crackfic about video game glitches specifically
- Fluff
- Time travel
- Time travel fix-its in particular
- Cats. Full generality. Can a cat reasonably make a cameo? A cat should make a cameo.
- Epistolary fiction, especially for worldbuilding. Mock scientific reports, news article format, letters... it's great, do that.
Art likes:
- Any skill level
- Monochrome
- Color
- Funky color palettes
- Traditional media (e.g. pencil, crayon, charcoal, paints...)
- Digital art
- Pixel art
- Metaphorical dream sequence-y looking stuff
- Any! Skill! Level! Colored stick figures? I'm cool with that! Lovingly detailed oil painting? Go ahead!
General DNWs:
- Incest, including adopted and step-relations.
- Underage (under 18) sex - depiction or discussion.
- Rape - depiction or discussion.
- Explicit sex. References to sex having happened off-screen are fine.
- Graphic depictions of violence. Exception for canon-typical levels of violence.
- Harming children 12 and under severely or permanently. Being scared, upset, or temporarily injured (scrapes, bruises) are fine.
- Harm to pet animals, unless the animal is rescued and fully nursed back to health.
- Cruelty to non-pet animals. Clean deaths are fine.
- Body horror, e.g. involuntary transformation played for horror, lingering descriptions of limb loss or bodily mutilation. Mere mention of amputees, prosthetics, or cybernetic implants are fine.
- Medical procedures described in detail.
- Parasites that prey on sapients or animals, particularly endoparasites (e.g. tapeworms, cordyceps fungus). Vague depictions of e.g. mosquitos in summer are fine.
- Bigotry (e.g. ableism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, racism, speciesism), unless echoing canonical views and even then only if condemned/fought against.
- Unrequested ships. Mentioning canonical relationships is fine, background OC couples existing are fine.
- Sinking requested ships if writing their relationship as platonic. (E.g. having the characters say they would/could never think of each other as anything but friends.)
- Setting-change AUs (e.g. all human, BSDM-world, coffeeshop, modern, no magic, soulmates, etc)
- RPF crossovers.
- AI-generated works.
I also have fandom-specific DNWs, which I will be repeating in all relevant fandom sections. (Yes, this means if you read my entire letter they will show up multiple times. Since I've broken this into sections with cuts, I figure it's the least worst option.)

Fandom-specific DNW(s), Bionicle:
- Matoran Universe natives wanting, having, or being capable of having sex; exception for non-sapient Rahi, and Zyglak and other fully organic entities in the GSR.
Undertale (Video Game & Untitled Goose Game (Video Game)
Art/Crossover, Art/Fusion, Fic/Crossover, Fic/Fusion

Fandom-specific DNW(s), Undertale:
- Using pronoun sets other than they/them for Chara and Frisk.
Fandom-specific DNWs, Untitled Goose Game:
- Canon-atypical dark tone, e.g. sinister intent on the part of the Goose, comedic elements taken to disturbing conclusions.
- Character death, major or minor.
- Violence beyond bloodless slapstick comedy. (The Goose may e.g. bite or smack people.)
Untitled Goose Game (Video Game) & Mass Effect Trilogy
Art/Crossover, Art/Fusion, Fic/Crossover, Fic/Fusion

Fandom-specific DNWs, Mass Effect:
- Resolving Priority: Rannoch by killing the geth or quarians.
- Resolving Priority: Tuchanka by sabotaging the genophage cure.
- Synthesis ending.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023) & Untitled Goose Game (Video Game)
Art/Crossover, Art/Fusion, Fic/Crossover, Fic/Fusion
This movie was packed full of ridiculous shenanigans and clearly needs more. Some possibilities:
- The goose steals the portal staff. Cue Yakety Sax.
- The goose causes Problems On Purpose for Sofina and Forge. Somehow it's immune or always-dodges-somehow Sofina's 9th level spells. The goose is INVINCIBLE and this is INFURIATING
- The goose is an aarakocra. The only difference is they talk now; they're just as Chaotic Neutral.
- Following on from that: aarakocra!Goose in the gladiator maze arena thing.
- The goose is Kira's new best friend! It's the best goose!
- The goose joins the protagonist gang on one of those heists that happened before Edgin and Holga got caught.
Fandom-specific DNWs, Untitled Goose Game:
- Canon-atypical dark tone, e.g. sinister intent on the part of the Goose, comedic elements taken to disturbing conclusions.
